Based in São Paulo (Brazil), Vívian Sotocórno is the Fashion News Director of Vogue Brazil, with more than 15 years of experience in the Fashion Industry, writing about fashion, jewelry and business.

In 2014, with only 26 years old, she joined Vogue as the youngest Fashion News Editor of the publication, after worked for Harper’s Bazaar in Brazil.

Supporting and promoting young Brazilian fashion designers as personal purpose, Vívian has been involved with important projects to support new talents over the years, including Sankofa Project (which brought eight black designers to the São Paulo Fashion Week line-up in 2021, helping to create a more diverse and inclusive fashion industry) and Veste Rio New Talents by Vogue Brazil & Ela Magazine (which, over five years, has revealed and supported more than 25 young Brazilian brands).

With 10+ years of experience covering international fashion weeks and shows around the world, she is also a Member of the CFDA Fashion Awards Guild.
