Born in São Paulo, parents from the northeast of Brazil, a region of great importance for the social and cultural development of the country. Since childhood, Maika, a queer child, grew up surrounded by freedom and unconditional support from his parents, who soon noticed his vibrant creativity. This freedom encouraged him to explore his artistic potential in a unique way. His journey began with a deep interest in drawing fashion sketches and creating looks for his mother, aunts and sister. Within limited resources, he transformed and reinterpreted pieces that no longer had value for those who wore them, revealing his talent for reinvention. At the age of 25, in 2015, Maika graduated in Fashion from university. A year later, moved by his passion for fashion photography, he began his professional career as a stylist, where he found his true will.Over the past 8 years, Maika has dedicated herself to contributing to the fashion market, committing herself to creating impactful images that not only reflect her art, but also promote the social evolution of her country through fashion.
