ROMERO

Argentina

My name is Josefina Romero, I’m the founder of Romero, and my story is one of INTEGRATION. I grew up on my family’s land in Corrientes, a province in Argentina where the connection to the earth and Guaraní culture remains strong and deeply rooted. I studied Political Science in Paris and later returned to Buenos Aires. For ten years, I worked in the editorial industry at a magazine that explored the intersection of gender, spirituality, and the ideas of Carl Jung. That period was key to deepening my understanding of archetypes, symbols, and the narratives that shape the human experience—particularly the feminine one.

That chapter led to the creation of Romero, my company, where I bring together all of that journey: critical thinking, spirituality, design, and craftsmanship. Just as Jung proposed that the soul’s path is a story of integration, so is my own journey. At Romero, I strive to translate abstract ideas into meaningful, lasting, archetypal objects that accompany those who wear them through their own processes. My work today is about creating from the soul, honoring time, essence, and the beauty that emerges when we dare to unite all that we are.
