Driven by passion and dedication to design, Jorge Luis Salinas decided to refine his academic talent abroad. He graduated from the prestigious Philadelphia College of Textiles & Science (now Thomas Jefferson University), where he acquired a strong foundation in fashion design, allowing him to consolidate both his technical and creative approach. In 1994, he founded Emporium, a brand that revolutionized the Peruvian market with an innovative proposal centered around denim—creating garments that reflect identity, authenticity, and style.
