ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

In order to be considered for the Latin American Fashion Awards, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Brand must be established and active for a minimum of 2 years.
  2. Brand, Owner and/or Creative Director must be of Latin American origin.
  3. Brand or company must be legally registered and active. 
  4. Brand must fall into one or more of the following accessory categories: Shoes, Bags, Swimwear, Jewelry, Hats, Belts, Eyewear & Scarves.
  5. Brand must have produced at least 4 collections throughout their history.
  6. Brand must prove recognition from local and international media.
  7. Brand must have at least 5 international stockists and/or sell direct-to-consumer.  

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA

Applications will be reviewed under the following criteria:

  1. Alignment with Latin American Fashion Awards core values: Diversity, Inclusion, Environment, People, Community & Craftsmanship. 
  2. Creative merit: demonstrating a strong aesthetic, identity and point of distinctiveness.
  3. Contribution to the growth of the Latin American fashion ecosystem, ie. heritage
    preservation, production, distribution, job creation, raw materials.
  4. Provide collateral material from the three latest collections, such as: Lookbooks, Fashion Films (optional), Videos and Showroom Presentations.
  5. Quality and level of stockists internationally.
  6. Degree of regional and international media presence and recognition.
  7. Quality and completion of application form.

Notes:
*All Latin American talent living in the region and around the world are eligible for the Award.
